Support Young Teens by becoming a CHOICES® Presenter or Sponsor

The Waynesville-St. Robert Chamber will be continue to present the CHOICES® Program to all 8th graders in the county this fall in partnership with the LPC Alumni Foundation and Rotary Club of Pulaski County.  What is CHOICES®? CHOICES® is an interactive, decision-making workshop that empowers teens to achieve academic success in pursuit of their career and life aspirations. In two 50-minute sessions, local business and community volunteers take students through real-world exercises on academic self-discipline, time and money management, and goal setting. We are searching for business and community volunteers to bring this program to our youth. The training this year will be on August 28th from 9:00 a.m. – 11 a.m. at the Chamber office in the Tourism meeting room (lower level).  All presenters are required to attend this training. Want to help bring this program to our area 8th graders but unable to be a presenter, you can sponsor a class for $250. You may pick the school districts you want to sponsor; Crocker / Dixon / Laquey / Richland / Maranatha Baptist Academy / Waynesville.
