The Ambassadors Club was established in December 2006 and serves as an elite group of members assisting the Chamber staff with member retention, education and outreach along with welcoming new members. The Ambassador program is a premier business-networking program and the Ambassadors are the backbone of the Chamber volunteer force. The Ambassadors perform personal calls and site visits to answer questions about membership benefits, programs and events. One of the important roles of the Ambassador is to be a guide and a leader for Chamber Members to help them take advantage of the benefits the Chamber offers and succeed in the community. Additionally, the Ambassadors assist in greeting/escorting members and non-members at Chamber events and programs along with participating in member ribbon cuttings and other celebration events.
Purpose….The Ambassadors Club serves as a liaison between the Chamber, our members and the greater business community. Ambassadors actively promote the WSR Chamber in the business community, referring prospective members to the Chamber for follow up, providing assistance to new Chamber members to connect them to the organization and working with existing members to help them remain active and involved. Ambassadors are the hosts at Chamber events and activities. They greet and introduce new members and guests to Chamber members, answer questions about membership and participation and assist with registration or other activities as requested. Ambassadors work to welcome new members and retain existing members through their efforts as a face of the Chamber.
